Tasks on your phone: Reminders on the iPhone, Tasks.org on Android

You can also keep track of the tasks from the Tasks app of your WebOké Nextcloud (see Tasks: lists, deadlines and subtasks) on your phone. A task list in your Nextcloud is actually a calendar that contains tasks. That's why tasks travel via the same connection as your calendar.

On the iPhone and iPad: Reminders

1. Connect your Nextcloud calendar to your iPhone as described in Calendar and contacts on the iPhone and iPad.
2. Check in Settings under the CalDAV account whether Reminders is switched on.
3. Open the Reminders app. Your task lists appear under the name of your Nextcloud account.

Create new tasks in a list under your Nextcloud account. Tasks in an iCloud list or On My iPhone don't end up in your Nextcloud.

On Android: Tasks.org or jtx Board with DAVx5

1. Install a tasks app that works with DAVx5, for example Tasks.org or jtx Board (Google Play or F-Droid).
2. Connect your Nextcloud with DAVx5 as described in Calendar and contacts on Android with DAVx5. Already had DAVx5? Open the account in DAVx5; if the tasks app is new, DAVx5 asks for permission for tasks. Give it.
3. In DAVx5, on the CalDAV tab, tick your task lists.
4. Open your tasks app: your Nextcloud lists appear in it, under the name of your DAVx5 account.

On the computer

In the browser, you use the Tasks app. Thunderbird shows your tasks under Tasks (see Calendar and contacts in Thunderbird), and Outlook can retrieve them with CalDav Synchronizer (see Calendar in Outlook with CalDav Synchronizer). On the Mac, you use the Reminders app (see Calendar and Contacts on the Mac).
